NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR BRISTOL YOUNG HEROES AWARDS 2016 - Open from Monday 5th October 2015 - Closing date Sunday

Nominate a Young Hero for an award at the third Bristol Young Heroes Awards, sponsored by GKN Aerospace and Wales and West Utilities and supported by Bristol YMCA.
It will take place on Friday 1st April 2016 at The Wills Memorial Building on Queens Road. The awards recognise the valuable contribution that Bristol’s young people (aged 11-19) make to the city - particularly those who have overcome difficult circumstances, made a difference in the lives of others or achieved great things. The celebratory evening will begin with a formal dinner, followed by award presentations and conclude with live entertainment for an evening to remember.
Nominations can be made for the 7 categories via the website www.bristolyoungheroesawards.co.uk and close at 5pm on Sunday 31st January. The judging panel will choose 3 nominees for each category with the winner being announced on the night with an 8th Award for Overall Young Hero 2016 also announced on the night.

Nominies & Presenters Announced
The Bristol Young Heroes Awards is an exciting initiative sponsored by GKN Aerospace and Wales and West Utilities with the second annual event, taking place on Saturday 28th March 2015 at The Bristol Hotel on Prince Street.
The awards will recognise the valuable contribution that Bristol’s young people (aged 11-19) make to the city - particularly those that have overcome difficult circumstances, made a difference in the lives of others or achieved great things.

Three nominees from each category will attend the event as guests of honour with the winning young heroes announced on the night being presented with a trophy to commemorate their achievement. There is also a sixth award for the Over all Young Hero which will be from one of the nominees from the other five categories.
